Harmony grew up on a farm in Pinckney, Michigan and currently lives in Elwell. She works for Consumers Energy as the Regional Community Affairs Manager covering Gratiot, Isabella, Clare and Montcalm Counties. No stranger to community involvement, Harmony has been involved with United Way since 1994. She currently serves as the Campaign Coordinator for Consumers Energy’s annual campaign. She also is a member of the Alma/St. Louis Rotary Club, elder at the Mt. Pleasant Community Church, on the Greater Gratiot Development Board, and past board members of the Gratiot Area Chamber of Commerce and United Way of Gratiot County. Something people may not know about Harmony is that she was the 1982 MSU Rodeo Queen!
Originally from Belleville, Michigan, Don currently resides in Elwell with his wife, Harmony. Don is a retiree from Central Michigan University where he was the Associate Director of University Recreation and taught various classes. Being involved in volunteer work is very important to him as he has volunteered for Special Olympics for over 40 years and continues to do so. One fun fact about Don, he is dancing with TWO replacement knees which he received in 2017!
