PITCH-ER THIS! is a community development competition for students in Gratiot and Isabella Counties.
United Way will provide funding to the winning team(s) to help bring their idea to life. Event attendees and a panel of community leaders will vote for their favorite project. The event is free and open to the public.
Ideas range from programs and events to technology and arts that will help people achieve their full potential through quality education, financial stability and healthy lifestyles.
PITCH-ER THIS! is hosted by United Way of Gratiot & Isabella Counties in collaboration with CMU College of Medicine students.
Mission: To provide students in Gratiot and Isabella Counties an opportunity to implement their ideas in their community.
- To gain fresh perspectives on how to improve our community
- To facilitate youth participation in community
- To strengthern Gratiot & Isabella Counties via student projects related to quality education, financial stability and healthy lifestyles
- Teach high school students project development, presentation and public speaking skills
