Community Investment

Through our Community Investment Fund grant allocations, United Way volunteers have allocated more than $3.8 million ($3,854,341) over the past 10 years in support of 61 community-based programs and services offered through 36 affiliate agency partners in Gratiot & Isabella Counties.

Donor Designated Gifts

United Way serves as a vehicle for charitable giving for those who live and work in Gratiot & Isabella Counties by providing an avenue for donor designated gifts to our affiliate agency partners. As a result, $1,576,168 has been invested in 74 local nonprofit organizations over the past decade.

 

Emergency Food & Shelter Program

Over the past 10 years, United Way has led the effort to secure and distribute $632,015 through the Federal Emergency Management Agency's Emergency Food & Shelter Program, benefiting Gratiot & Isabella County residents through programs offered by American Red Cross, EightCAP, Gratiot Emergency Housing Corp., Isabella Community Soup Kitchen, Isabella County Restoration House, John H. Goodrow Fund, Salvation Army and others.
