The Community Campaign
In June 2016, the United Way Board of Trustees set a bold goal to raise $900,000 during the 2016-17 Community Campaign. This includes a Gratiot County goal of $350,000 and an Isabella County goal of $550,000.
United Way: Give today, change tomorrow!
In FY17, nearly all of our internal operating expenses are being covered by corporate gifts, foundation grants and support from our Signature Partners. As a result, 93% of each individual contribution made through United Way's Community Investment Fund is being invested back into the local community through programs and services offered by local nonprofit organizations. That's 93 cents on every dollar donated!
The Community Investment Fund is the most powerful way to invest your contribution. Each year, a group of dedicated local volunteers reviews program grant requests from local nonprofit organizations to determine how to most effectively invest your contribution to make a difference right in your community.
